BBB has received complaints from consumers alleging the address used by SE Motors Group does not belong to it after they attempted to purchase a used vehicle. Additionally, consumers claim SE Motors Group requests personal information and a wire transfer of funds in order to secure their vehicle.

BBB is reaching to SE Motors Group to obtain more information.

In September 2020, BBB initiated an investigation into SE Motors Group after reviewing several complaints that alleged purchased vehicles from SE Motors Group were never delivered. 

In its investigation, BBB found that SE Motors Group falsely claimed to possess and sell vehicles to consumers. Furthermore, the business was not located at its advertised location in Fort Worth, Texas.

Victims typically found the business through online classified websites like cars.com. The victim messaged the alleged seller, who would then redirect the victim to SE Motors Group by claiming it was handling the sale of the vehicle.

Victims then emailed with SE Motors Group who provided documentation of the vehicle and requested payment via wire transfer for thousands of dollars. Once the monies was provided, victims did not receive their vehicle. 

Through a VIN search, BBB found that the legitimate owner of the vehicles SE Motors Group was selling had no connection to website. 

To date, SE Motors Group website is no longer active and has been unresponsive to BBB.
