            On July 8, 2021, BBB contacted Body Concepts Health Spa regarding claimed results advertised on their website https://bodyconceptshealthspa.com.

            Body Concepts Health advertises claimed results of their products and ingredients including:

            “Glutathione is often called The Mother of All Antioxidants and may work toward body detoxificationand enhance supple skin. Glutathione may help with skin elasticity and anti-aging. Vitamin BComplex as an IV infusion may boost physical activity and alertness and reduce brain fog.”

            “Glutathione has been known to boost immune function, detoxify the liver, prevent oxidative celldamage, improve skin elasticity and produce a healthy glow. Glutathione can be a valuable weapon inthe fight against oxidative stress, aging, and tired skin.”

            “Best for Myers Cocktail (contained in the Energy Cocktail may potentially reduce Chronic Fatigueand reduce the effects of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.             BBB Code of Advertising states claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, orresults for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objectivedata.

            Additionally, BBB found some conflicting reports claiming the science behind MIC injections does notsupport the claim to dissolve fat or break down fat. BBB also found evidence supporting Ionicfootbaths detoxifies the body is limited and some evidence suggests they do not have any healthbenefits.

            BBB requested Body Concepts Health Spa to substantiate the advertised claims by providing evidence from recent, reliable, andcompetent studies or other objective data substantiating these claims or discontinue the advertisedclaims to address BBB's concerns.

            As of July 26, 2021, Body Concepts Health Spa failed to respond to BBB's request to modify, substantiate or discontinue the advertised claims.
