The Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Abilene and The Big Country advises consumers to use caution when doing business with Happy Shop or any of its related online stores:

This company's website claims to be located at 2438 Industrial Blvd., #569 in Abilene, Texas. The BBB confirmed that the address the business is using is that of a mail forwarding/receiving service. John Riggins, CEO of the BBB of Abilene warns, "While the business mentioned a warehouse in Asia to one of the complainants, the BBB does not know where the business is physically located and urges caution when choosing whether to do business with a company whose physical location is unknown."

Consumers have reported patterns of complaint to the BBB by this business regarding delivery issues, refund/exchange issues, and customer service issues. Between January 25, 2021 and March 10, 2021, eleven complaints and four Scam Tracker reports have been submitted to the BBB from California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington and Wisconsin. Each shared similar stories.

A Washington consumer reported on BBB.org/ScamTracker: I saw an Instagram ad for a purse. I ordered the item and expected to receive it within 2 weeks. Fast forward 3 weeks and still no bag, no shipping update, nothing. I decided to reach out to the customer service email. They replied a week later and said that they would be sending me a tracking number within 3-5 days. On day 6 I followed up after receiving no updates and they replied: "the item was shipped but lost, so we need to send a replacement but it might not get there until March 20th!" They then sent me a "tracking number" and link to track it. I looked THAT website up and pretty much every result was "if they send you a tracking number from this website, you're not getting your item and it's a scam."

Another customer, from California, reported to BBB.org/ScamTracker: I ordered through an ad on Facebook. It said it would be shipped in 5-8 days. When received nothing, I contacted them and they said it was shipped. I waited another week (No tracking info provided) and contacted them again. I was told it was lost in transit; so, I would get a refund in 5-10 days. Three days later someone else emailed me with a tracking number and said they would refund me 15% for my inconvenience. I responded that I was told they already refunded my money and she agreed to refund the full amount for wasting my time. I still have no refund or product! I have emailed them 3 more times with no response.

As of March 16, 2021, Happy Shop has an "F" rating, the lowest on the BBB's scale, due to unanswered complaints. The company websites list no telephone number, attempts to communicate with the company via email have been met only with automated responses, and BBB letters have been returned, unopened, stating: Return to sender, Undeliverable Commercial Mail, Receiving Agency No Authorization To Receive Mail for this Addressee.
