Based on information supplied by the company, Effectively immediately, Aspen Dental Practices and Aspen Dental Management, Inc are currently operating with reduced staffing levels in order to protect the wellbeing of team members, care for patients in urgent need and help minimize the spread of COVID-19. This aspect of the Business Profile will be updated once additional information becomes available.
Customer Complaint
This business has a pattern of complaint alleging billing issues. Specifically, consumers allege they are given one price at the time of service and later billed for more. Furthermore, when consumers attempt to reach the business for resolution they struggle to get a clear response.
BBB contacted the business on October 1, 2020 and the business responded with the following actions steps to eliminate the pattern of complaints:
1. For billing, and dental care questions or concerns, please ask the consumer to contact the Office Manager Tammy Hartman, at the office. If she is not available the consumer can call the office and request a return call from the Regional Manager, Caitlyn Mulhurin.
2. The office is requested to handle concerns and questions with urgency. The goal is to respond to the consumer within a 24 hour period.
3. Any perceived misdiagnosis concerns or charges for treatment not received need to be addressed with the Office Manager, Tammy Hartman directly. Escalation to the Regional Manager, Caitlyn Mulhurin is recommended if there is further explanation needed.
