BBB's role in the marketplace is to ensure the public's confidence in advertising and to promote trust in business.
In BBB's general review of advertising, we note this company's web site makes no reference to the name Posey's Moving Service. The website for Above All Moving and Storage is not listed with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. We also noted that USDOT #3345319 advertised on that website belongs to Posey's Moving Service, LLC. That LLC does not list the DBA Above All Moving and Storage. Additionally, that particular DOT Report states that Posey's Moving Service, LLC is Authorized INTRASTATE ONLY. However, the website for Above All Moving and Storage advertises the following, "Whether you are relocating down the street or across the country, the team at Above All Moving and Storage is here to provide the top of the line, safe moving services you deserve."
The Better Business Bureau is seeking clarification regarding these issues. We sent a letter asking why the website uses a completely unrelated business name? Why is that DOT # listed on that website? Why does the website advertise cross country moves when neither company is INTERSTATE authorized?
BBB is seeking the company's voluntary cooperation in clarifying these issues by answering the questions listed above.
Our objectives are to encourage ethical business practices and to preserve the selling efficiency of advertising in our market place.
