- Advertising Review:On 11/07/2019 BBB wrote to Bear Marketing Services LLC and asked the business to substantiate the following advertising claims: "Endorsed as the Preferred Insurance provider of the PCA" and "Cigar Insurance USA is the leader in providing Cigar Liability & Affordable Tobacconist Insurance for the Smoke Shops in the USA" BBB found that these claims were in violation of the BBB Code of Advertising regarding Basic Principles of the Code: Advertisers have a responsibility to have substantiation for all claims made and should be able to provide that substantiation upon request and Misrepresentation may result not only from direct statements, but by omitting or obscuring a material fact. As of 1/23/20 the business has failed to voluntarily substantiate these claims.
