The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the governments allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On May 9, 2017, the Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP) announced the filing of a civil law suit alleging that the company and its owner repeatedly violated Pennsylvania's consumer protection laws by failing to deliver items purchased or brought in for repair by consumers. Specifically, the BCP alleged at least 8 violations in which consumers did not receive items back when brought in for repair, failure to deliver items that were purchased and paid for, or refunds when requested. The BCP seeks an order requiring the company to cease these practices, restitution, and civil penalties.
