The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On April 4, 2024, the Hazleton Township Police Department announced the arrest of the owner of the company and charged him with seven counts of felony theft by deception, four counts of tampering with public records, seven counts of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds, four counts of making false applications for title registrations, and seven counts of engaging in unprofessional conduct/incompetency. According to charging documents, the owner allegedly failed to forward vehicle forms and associated fees to PennDOT submitted by seven consumers who purchased a motor vehicle with temporary registration tags in the required timeframe and fraudulently changed the date of sale to make it appear that they were sold at a later date. No trial date has been set.
