Let me start this by saying I'm active duty military and currently conducting a permanent change of station move (PCS) as this is important. I made a reservation for a 26 ft truck on November 1st, 2021 in preparation for my move on December 20th 2021 I received an email from a local rep on December 1st, 2021 stating that budget truck rentals corporate has rented out all of their available trucks to parcel services and in all likelihood I would not receive my reservation truck at all . I don't know how this is an accepted business practice and as a customer I feel as though I have been slighted by this dishonest and disingenuous policy. Not only are truck rentals now 3 to 5 times More expensive than when I initially made my reservation, I simply do not have the funds to accommodate such a change, especially this close to my move. My move. The local rep said that corporate was unlikely to accommodate me, and when I called the corporate number, twice I might add, I was hung up on. In my opinion this business deserves less than a one star review. I was also told by the local rep. This is an every year thing and that I am not the only customer that this has happened to and he has had to call at least 30 other customers within the last month to tell them the same thing. This is unacceptable
