Working as an Agent with an Insurance Company we often have to call the mortgage department to either send them proof of insurance for a client & also sometimes have to call them to request an overnight/expedite payment since for whatever the reason the insurance company has not received payment from the said Bank therefore we contact the Mortgage insurance department. - I have faxed, mailed *the Insurance company has also mailed docs and requested payment. - & still no payment received. I then am told that they were recently received but no one has made the initiative to do something about it. For example processing the change and sending payment. Should the said Bank need approval from the client why Not give a phone call to the Client if they need their approval to process anything on their end. Not a call to the insurance company either. Then when the Insurance policy is close to cancelling due to non-pay I get the "In order for the Bank to send an overnight/expedited payment the policy cancel date should be 3days away from canceling." but my brain can NOT comprehend the illogical in this. For example what if the cancel date is on the weekend & on top of that there is a holiday during the week as well? Will the payment be received over the weekend? Will the insurance company be open on a Sunday/weekend? as far as I am aware they are usually only open during the week shouldn't the payment be mailed before the weekend and only count business days, also not counting holidays? I would assume that a Bank would know all these since they know how Bank Payments work. anyways I am so upset that I am having an issue with the bank because they are telling me that they can only process and send an expedited payment 3days before the cancel date but on top of that they said it takes a whole day for them to process that check and then it will be generated to be mailed so that adds an additional day should we have additional days? The bank needs to change that because it does not work and because of that they caused a clients policy to cancel. very unprofessional as well to be told by the Bank representative that they will process something but then when I call to follow up on the said thing - nothing is taken care of and I am told there are no Notes about that. Except for the 3 day before the policy cancels note. and I am having to have another conversation about how they are not doing their job and I am having to baby sit and call them to make sure it is been taken care of. it is quite annoying that I have to repeat what they have to do & what we have been requesting to be done. So, *1- change the days of the expedite payment requirement. *2- Make sure your employees are doing their job and notating everything and calling the client should they need approval for whatever reason.
