On April 27, 2021, the Ohio Attorney General filed a suit in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court. Charges filed allege Aspen Roofing & Siding LLC violated the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act by accepting money from consumers and failed to make full delivery of promised goods and services and, failed to provide full refunds. Charges further allege home improvement repairs or services were incomplete, shoddy, substandard or performed in an unworkmanlike manner. Charges also allege failure to provide proper notice to consumers of their right to cancel within three days and provide consumers a notice of cancellation form. On August 4, 2021, Mr. Jones was found eligible for treatment in lieu of conviction by the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas.
