BBB has received a recent increase in complaints and customer reviews from consumers stating they get a quote from ReCell.io to purchase their used cell phone and when they attempt to cash the check, the check bounces. BBB has also received complaints and customer reviews stating that the consumer was quoted a specific amount they would be paid for their cell phone, but after they send it in, the company states they are going to pay them less due to the poor condition of the phone (scratches, cracked screen etc.)
