          A.G. Schneiderman And Dec Commissioner Seggos Announce Indictment Charging St. Lawrence County Auto Dealership And Employee For Alleged Burial Of Hazardous Waste

          The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved.  We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven.

          On December 21, 2016 the Attorney General and DEC filed indictment in St. Lawrence Country Court.  Charges filed allege the business is in violation of the New York State Environmental Conservation Law prohibiting to properly dispose of hazardous material jeopardies of health of New Yorkers and the surrounding environment. The matter is pending. For more details, go to the New York Attorney General’s Press Release.

          In response to these charges, the business provided the following statement:

          I am going to give you my feelings not specific facts about the pending case.  As the complaint states 3 years ago a disgruntled employee buried some items in the back yard.  In 10/2015 I successfully won a 76  million dollar law suit against the state of new york attorney generals office.  In 2016 the attorney's generals office called a grand jury in which a indictment was issued against MAHONEY AUTO MALL.   Every item is in the public record.
