This organization is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is eligible to receive contributions deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes.
Better Business Bureau conducted an investigation into this charity, with initial contact on March 27, 2019, after receiving a number of inquiries about its legitimacy.The charity, which is not registered with Guidestar, did not respond to the requested information BBB sought including, but not limited to: EIN Number, BRIDGE number, terms for directors, if the directors are compensated, how many board meetings are held annually, how much of each dollar reaches Veterans, a copy of the solicitations used by the charity and if the charity has operational staff.The charity advised money is sent to housing shelters throughout the state. BBB reached out for further information, as of May 15, 2019, BBB received no further information.
