The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On July 24, 2018, the United States District ATtorney's Office in the Eastern District of New York filed an indictment in federal court in Brooklyn. Charges filed allege Keith Raniere, Clare Bronfman, Allison Mack, Kathy Russell, Lauren Salzman and Nancy Salzman with racketeering conspiracy involving an array of crimes, including identity theft, extortion, forced labor, sex trafficking, money laundering, wire fraud and obstruction of justice. Neither NXIVM, LLC or Executive Success Programs, the companies themselves were not named as defendants. The matter is pending.
