Fundraising
Method(s) Used:
Invitations to fundraising events, Print advertisements (newspapers, magazines, etc.), Grant proposals, Internet, We post posters around the area before each fundraising event, write articles about our event and send to local newspapers, and place ads in newspapers after they've become sponsors of an event (meaning we get free advertising for the event.) We also use eblasts and FB posts. We have not received any grants yet - consistent response is there are many other worthy organizations. We believe we have to have produced graduated service dogs (will happen by the end of 2019) to win grants. We just received the Platinum Level Guidestar rating, which we believe will also help us win grants..
