On October 10, 2016, NC Attorney General’s office was granted a temporary restraining order in Wake County Superior Court. Charges filed allege the business is in violation of NC law prohibiting defendants from engaging in unfair and deceptive trade practices.
Under the temporary restraining order issued by the court, while the case moves forward the defendants are barred from:
- Accepting payments from consumers;
- Advertising, offering, or entering into contracts for any product or service;
- Destroying, hiding or transferring any records or assets.
