BBB opened an investigation into the online retailer Hero-Shoes due to the inquiries we have received. Since July 13, 2020, BBB has received 15 complaints from consumers in 12 different states who allege never receiving their products or refunds for the non-delivery of orders. BBB has reached out to the business for each individual complaint, as well as to discuss our investigation, and to date has not received any response.
On August 10, 2020, BBB requested the following information from the business in order to clarify our understanding of the business:
- Business start date
- Principals names and titles
- Physical location and mailing address (if different)
- Preferred method of contact (mail, fax or email)
- A brief description of the products or services your company offers
- Information on how and where your company advertises
- Copies of marketing materials provided to your customers
- Refund policy and instructions for customers to request a refund
- Any
additional information that would enable BBB to better understand your
business
As of September 9, 2020, BBB has received no response from the business. If you have placed an order with Hero-Shoes and have not received your items, you may wish to contact your credit card company or bank and dispute the charges.
