Never in my life have I experienced worse customer service than with Frigidaire. On October 11th, I contacted Frigidaire about my new dishwasher because the door would not close. They assured me they would send someone out to repair it. After a week, I opened another chat, only to be told that the rep forgot to schedule my service. They scheduled the service for November 15th. I was told to be home from 8:00am to 5:00pm to wait for the technician. At 3:30, I was called and told the rep wouldn't come, and the earliest they could send someone was November 30th. I contacted Frigidaire, and asked if they could find an earlier appointment since I had already waited more than a month. Again, they told me the tech would come between 8:00am and 5:00am, but did let me know the technician would at least text me when they were on the way. On November 30th, the tech texted me at 9:40 to let me know they were coming, and arrived at 9:41. They replaced the latch, and the door closed. I ran my first load of dishes, and afterwards found that the bottom sprayer arm had become completely detached from the rest of the dishwasher, and has a large hole burned in it. It is completely destroyed. I assume the tech pulled it out at some point and forgot to secure it properly. After waiting nearly two months, I still don't have a working dishwasher, and I have to worry about burnt melted plastic on my dishes. I opened another chat with Frigidaire and explained the situation. The rep then said they would be happy to help me, before almost immediately disconnecting me from the chat. I then called their number, and for the first time (5 tries in the past) I was able to speak with a human. It took 30 minutes to get that far. They then told me they could send a Tech on December 14th to diagnose the problem. Then if they agree the part needed replaced, they would order it and schedule another appointment to install it.I asked if they could just send me a new sprayer arm and allow me to install it myself so I have a dishwasher by Christmas. The rep said they couldn't do that. The tech has to verify the part is needed. I offered to send a picture showing the sprayer arm with a giant hole in it, but apparently that is insufficient. I waited an additional 20 minutes to speak with a supervisor, only to be told the same thing.Review from Alan S

several attempts made to get refrigerator replaced due to doors won't seal. But keep getting run around. 2 factory repair places sent but first one kept rescheduling only to back out and tell me to call manufacturer. The other flat out lied and said they fixed it and all was good. Now stuck paying for refrigerator that is junk while buying another refrigerator to replace it. Do not buy Electrolux/Frigidaire products.Review from Tim M.

We have been trying for 4 weeks to get a refrigerator repaired or replaced. 2 techs have looked at it and the part is on back order and no time frame given for the part to be here.. Every time we reach out to Frigidaire, they put is on hold and the call gets disconnected, and no return call. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.Review from Kristin G

A year ago my builder installed a Frigidaire refrigerator (FGHD2368TF) in my new home. Within a few months the ice maker started freezing up and defrosting causing melted/refrozen ice and a horrible sound when the fan would get covered in hours. After many, many hours on the phone with Frigidaire and 3 repair attempts we were scheduled for a replacement. The second refrigerator was worse than the original. The entire box was crooked and could not be leveled causing a bad seal. Condensation would build up inside the refrigerator and on the seal for the freezer. After many more hours on the phone with Frigidaire I was scheduled another service to find out it could not be fixed and another replacement ordered. The replacement was never delivered on the scheduled date and no one called. More time on the phone with Frigidaire determined the replacement was damaged in transport. I have again been scheduled a time for the replacement to be delivered and installed. I am on my third refrigerator in a year. Do not buy a Frigidaire product unless you want to spend hours on the phone (no less than an hour per phone call) and hours waiting for service technicians or delivery people. **************** is terrible and all they do in make excuses and pass the buck to other people. Frigidaire does not make a quality product. I didn't even mention the Electrolux Dryer I have that does not work properly and has already been repaired twice in a year. If I could give this company less than 1 star, I would. The washer I purchased, NEW, less than 1.5 years old broke down, giving me an error 11 code, AND locked my clothes inside. I ran all the diagnostics in the **************** Sheet and have nothing inside my home/outside of this washer that contributed to this error. We call TWO repairmen we are friends with who own their own repair companies and neither one will deal with ANYTHING Electrolux SO! I fix the door lock and now the washer won't cycle past 17 minutes remaining. I call the company to get the replacement parts the Data Sheet states would be the issue (even though I am telling them its the relay sensor or main control board) and they tell me that even though my product is still under their "Platinum Star Warranty", I have to have an authorized service company come out (AND PAY THEM) to 'correctly diagnose' my issue even though I'm telling them I only need the replacement parts (AND THE WASHER DIAGNOSES ITSELF WHEN YOU RUN THE DIAGNOSTIC MODE/REPORT ON IT) bc I can fix the unit myself and have done so with other appliances MANY TIMES!!!! There's only 5 parts to a washer anyway! They still won't do it and the repair labor as well as any parts that *** or *** NOT be covered under my so called warranty will/could be my responsibility. DO NOT BUY AN ELECTROLUX APPLIANCE!!!!! IF YOU CAN'T EVEN GET REPLACEMENT PARTS for an appliance THAT DIAGNOSES ITSELF and ONLY AN AUTHORIZED company that Electrolux chooses can look at it AAAAAND YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT???? SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM TO ME!!!!! BUYERS BEWARE!Customer Response

Electrolux/Frigidaire Service by Phone, Site SUCKS!Our Electrolux model Our issue how in h*** do you get the RECTANGULAR GLASS OVEN LIGHT COVER OFF so that you can replace the halogen light within! their stupid manual directions show a hand just grabbing thats it! And that is bull! For those of you with this problem forget trying to get their help! Nobody answers any phone calls, and their so called site is a mess and is a junk heep of their blah blah! To get the **** glass cover off from inside the oven so that you can replace bulblook carefully with a flashlight and you will see about a 1/2 inch space slot on the top of the glass here you can stick a tiny flat edged s**** driver into and with slight pressure the glass pops out! I am not saying this is the way to do it but after hours of looking on you tube and trying to get Customer Serviceand got nowhere I saw the slot, put in the screwdriver wedged it toward me the glass popped out try it! Worked for me! We will not buy from this pathetic appliance conglomerate againstupid manuals, asinine site, incompetent poorly organized customer service operations, and clearly top management cannot hire enough qualified people to answer the **** phones about their products even though they sing a lovely long boring songs and homilies about how easy it is to get help if you need it! Like everything in this country now blowing smoke up everybodys **** is the accepted norm and none of us are ever supposed to stand up and say a **** thing bad to h*** with this company we are done with them!Our top model Electrolux EW306F65GSJ
