          In September 2022, it came to the attention of BBB that Canvas Boutique and Dispensary’s website canvashempdispensary.com/ made the following health claims, including, but not limited to: Health benefit claims, Interstate sales and CBD in food.                                          

          Such claims include that CBD products can treat or assist with Pain, Analgesic Properties, Anti-Inflammatory, Anxiety, Coronavirus, and more.

          The BBB Code of Advertising also states, "Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data."

          BBB provided extensive examples of modifications the business could make in place of retaining the necessary scientific testing. However, as of December 27, 2022, the business has failed to respond or substantiate any noted advertising claims or enact any recommended modifications provided by BBB.
