Ad Review
In February 2019, Better Business Bureau challenged an advertising claim on Nepute Wellness Center's website. The website stated, “Our ideal circumstance is what we call Pre-Conception Care. This is when parents come to us at least 2 years before conceiving a child to first correct unidentified health issues with them in order to prevent those genes from being passed down.”
According to Better Business Bureau’s Code of Advertising standards, “Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.
BBB asked the business to provide substantiation to the claim. The company initially responded but did not respond to BBB’s request for substantiation/documentation.
