Carl Leavy 18SL-CR08863 - ST V CARL LEAVY (E-CASE)
On December 6, 2018, St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney, Bob McCullough, charged Carl Leavy, owner of Home MD with five counts of deceptive practices and violation of Missouri Merchandising Practices. Between July 2016 and June 2018, Mr. Leavy acted alone or in concert with others, in connection with the sale of services and merchandise in trade and commerce, to wit: home repair and remodeling services, including the purchase and installation of merchandise, willfully, knowingly, and with the intent to defraud made the false promise to consumer's that, in exchange for payment, Mr. Leavy would provide home repair or remodeling services, including the purchase and installation of merchandise, a representation that was false or misleading as to Mr. Leavy's intention to perform the promise.
On March 21, 2022, Leavy pled guillty to six felony counts of deceptive practices. He was given five years probation.
