On March 31, 2023, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. §§
326B.805, subd. 5 (c); 326B.809; and 326B.86, subd. 2 (2022). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to ensure all contracts and change orders are in writing and comply with Minn. Stat. 326B.809 (2022) and notify DLI of any civil judgments based on their contracting activity within 15 days and satisfy or appeal the judgment within 30 days. The business also agreed to maintain general liability insurance and provide a copy to DLI. The monetary penalty was stayed on the condition that the business fully complies with the terms of the order and has no future violations of any law, rule or order under DLI authority. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
