          Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry Consent Cease & Desist Order

          On January 6 2021, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business acted as an unlicensed residential building contractor, remodeler or roofer in Minnesota, a violation of Minn.Stat. 326B.805, subds. 1 and 3 (2018) and offered to perform electrical work in Minnesota without being properly licensed, in violation of Minn. Stat. 326B.33 subds, 14, 15 and 16 (2018). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to cease and desist from acting or holding themselves out as a residential building contractor, remodeler or roofer in Minnesota until compliance with Minn.Stat. 326B.801-326B.825 (2018) is achieved, including licensing under Minn.Stat. 326B.805 and 326B.81 (2018). The business also agreed to cease and desist from performing or offering to perform electrical work in Minnesota.  The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law.
