    Government Action: BBB reports on known government actions involving business’ marketplace conduct:
    Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Consent Order

    On June, 5, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11(b)(1)(2)(8)(9); 326B.36 (2022) and Minn. Rule 3800.3570 and 3801.3780 (2021). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to be censured and to be prohibited from filing electrical permits and/or requests from electrical inspections for any property unless he is under contract to perform the work and he will perform the work or have an employee of the business who is a master or journeyworker licensed electrician perform the work. The business also agreed to schedule final inspections as required and ensure that all information sent to DLI  is truthful and provide proof that his license number is attached to the vehicle used when performing electrical work, as required.  The business will also pay $3,000.00 of a $5,000.00 fine, with the balance stayed  on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the link below.
