On March 10, 2021, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11 (b) (5) (8) and 326B.84 (2) (5) (2020). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to removal all references to 'special methods' to determine if an insurance claim would be paid at 100% and all references to consumers with that experience from all advertising. The business also agreed to not offer anything of value to offset a consumer's insurance deductible or offer to compensate or provide an inducement for the sale, such as a material upgrade, sign credits, referral bonuses or other compensations.
