On August 10, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082 subd. 11 (b)(6), 326B.84 (1)(2)(14) (2020) and Minn.R. 2891.0040, subp. 1A (2021). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to ensure all future communication with DLI is complete, accurate and timely and shall only transact business in their licensed name. Also, the owners of the business has notify DLI within 15 days of being found to be a judgement debtor related to their licenses; notify DLI within 10 days if found guilty of a felony, gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor relating to residential contracting in Minnesota or any other state. The business also agreed to pay a fine of $500 with a balance of $1500 stayed on the condition they comply with the Order and have no further violations of any laws, rules or orders by DLI.
