Alert

According to information provided by consumers and BBB's own investigation, "Safe Trade Automotives" is *not* a real business and has the hallmarks of a fake vehicle shipper/escrow scheme designed to convince online car shoppers to wire money for vehicles they will never ultimately receive. Consumers are often given false assurance that their money will be held in an escrow account and will not be released until the consumer confirms they are satisfied with the vehicle. Fake shippers commonly use names similar to a legitimate business, then use that business’s USDOT and/or state license number to lend credibility to their scheme.

Mail to 5863 Belleville Rd in Belleville, MI was returned marked "No Such Number". Safe Trade Automotives does not appear to be registered in Michigan or as a vehicle transport company with the US Department of Transportation. The website was created on 10/28/24 and the registrant’s name/contact information remain private.

If you are currently in communication with Safe Trade Automotives, please *do not* wire money to this entity and discontinue communication immediately.

If you have additional information to share with BBB and other consumers about Safe Trade Automotives, please submit a BBB Scam Tracker report at https://www.bbb.org/scamtracker.
