An investigation was prompted by a BBB Scam Tracker report regarding an unsolicited work-from-home job offer to receive packages at their home address, add a new label and reship to a new address. The consumer told BBB “There is no verifiable information about the company.” and “The promised payment seems unusually high for the tasks involved.”
Based on BBB’s investigation, Glb Gate Ship LLC has the
hallmarks of an employment scam designed to convince consumers to reship
merchandise that was obtained by fraudulent means.
150 West 2nd Street in Royal Oak, MI is a parking structure. 833-856-2693 goes straight to voicemail. The website was created on 11/08/24 and the registrant’s name remains private. The email address on the website is invalid, undeliverable. While it uses ‘LLC’ in its name, there is no such LLC (limited liability company) registered in Michigan.
