Advertising Review
On October 20, 2022, BBB Serving Eastern Michigan and Upper Peninsula requested that the business modify or discontinue advertisements on the business' website and SavOn direct mail advertising to comply with the BBB Code of Advertising. The business advertises "No interest for 12 months" and "12 months same as cash". As of December 15, 2022, the business has failed to make the requested modifications to their advertising.
The BBB Code of Advertising Section 16. Credit states "Offering credit to consumers comes with numerous requirements which must be met." When businesses use credit trigger terms such as those listed above, BBB advertising standards require that the amount of the down payment, terms of repayment, and annual percentage rate be displayed.
