            On 11/12/2019 BBB wrote to Kare N Herbs and asked the business to substantiate the following advertising claims: "...rare species of natural plants whose properties proven effective in helping human brain and body cells adapt to and resist physical, environmental and chemical stress. All these herbs are fast acting, non-toxic and normalizing. These Adaptogenic herbs release our own innate resources of energy, vitality and strength. These herbs assist in helping your immune system""Following 6 years of research, our founder introduced Rhodiola rosea (the active ingredient in Energy Kare®) to the United States in 1993. Since then, this herb has been praised by radio shows and celebrity doctors, as well as countless articles, journals, and books." and "Made in the USA Proudly manufactured in the USA" BBB found that these claims were in violation of the BBB Code of Advertising regarding the following portions of the Code: The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. The advertising makes broad claims as to the endorsements or approval by indefinitely large or vague groups, for example, “the homeowners of America,” “the doctors of America;” . As of  1/21/20 the business has failed to voluntarily substantiate these claims.
