          Commonwealth of Massachusetts vs Aspen Dental Management Inc

           

           

          On January 5, 2023, Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office announced a $3.5 million settlement with Aspen Dental Management, Inc., for allegedly violating the state Consumer Protection Law.  The consent judgment, entered in Suffolk Superior court settles a lawsuit filed by Attorney General Maura Healey in December of 2021 resolving claims that Aspen Dental engaged in deceptive advertising and marketing practices and the assurances Aspen Dental made to the AG’s Office in a 2014 settlement addressing similar conduct.
