Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) issued a violation on August 15, 2019, for two counts of entering into contracts with unlicensed contractors involving work or activity for the performance of which a license is required. The business made an offer that was accepted by the LSLBC which included a no contest plea.
In Louisiana, businesses may need a state license for Home Improvement projects and Foundation repairs with a value exceeding $7,500, but not in excess of $75,000, including labor and materials.
