            Advertising Review

            On June 1st and June 8th 2020, Better Business Bureau contacted Mattress Liquidators regarding advertising claims on their web site.

             The site states, "Guaranteed the Lowest Prices in Town!
            Retailers can’t even come close to matching our prices, so we GUARANTEE that our prices are the lowest!." 

            BBB informed the company these claims appeared to be in violation of BBB's Code of Advertising,  Section: 12. Lowest Prices, Underselling Claims, which states:
            "Despite an advertiser's best efforts to ascertain competitive prices, the rapidity with which prices fluctuate and the difficulty of determining prices of all sellers at all times preclude an absolute knowledge of the truth of unqualified underselling/lowest price claims. 
            12.1 Advertisers must have proper substantiation for all claims prior to dissemination.
            12.2 Unqualified underselling claims must be avoided. 
            BBB requested modification or substantiation of this statement to comply with this standard. To date there has been no response or modification from Mattress Liquidators
