I was just approached by a scammer when putting New York resume on Thai website. There has to be a way to protect clients from scammers like this one. If I would have fallen for it I could have lost a lot of money. Im just looking for a job!!! Why cant career builders stop the scammers on their site and protect people like me. They should be shut down!

I was sent an email about a job position and was requested to apply for a position as a customer service representative through ***********************. I replied as stated in the email through telegram messaging service. The company Torrent Pharma representative *************************** replied to my email applying for the position. I was told he would send me a package overnight with a check to cover my expenses. I was given a tracking number and I tracked it. It was supposed to be delivered the next day. After package not arriving I tracked it again and it said it was being returned to sender. I then informed *************************** of this and he said another package would be sent. Same issue with this package, return requested by sender. I informed him of this and he asked if I had funds to send to them to get the software I would need. I sent them $1000.00 with gift cards. Another package was sent which was requested by sender to be returned. Another package was sent and this time package was damaged and was returned. Another package was sent and requested to be returned by sender. After this, I was offered another position and was turned over to the supervisor, **************** ******. I worked with him most of the day to get the position. I could not get a salary for the job, but continue on with the process. At the end of the day, he asked me to give him my bank login information. I refused and suggested we terminate the process. He then asked for another bank information which I refused. I then telegramned *************************** about the $1000.00 previously sent and he said it was spent on the software I needed, but would get back to me on this. This was about 3 hours ago, so he has not had time to find a solution for the money. I have the email and telegram messages on my laptop to verify the information.
