from consumers alleging while shopping on fishinglicense.org they thought they
were purchasing a fishing license when in actuality they were purchasing a
downloadable fishing guide. BBB reviewed the website www.fishinglicense.org and found the
company states on their website they are privately owned and not affiliated
with any government agency. BBB found the company sells a Complete
Fisherman Licensing Guide and Audiobook that alleges to help consumers in
filing a fishing license application as well as plan fishing trips.
BBB found the company does not sell new, renew existing, replace or
sell lifetime fishing licenses.
BBB
could not locate any ownership or physical location for the company. BBB
found the address in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is a mail box store. BBB could
not find the company registered with Idaho Secretary of State. On April
6, BBB sent emails to the company asking for their business registration
information and information about their offer. To date, BBB has not
received a response.
