          On May 16, 2019, BBB contacted Positive Performance concerning advertising claims found on its website, https://truehi.net/. Specifically, the company claims they are an, “ASHI Certified Home Inspector (American Society of Home Inspectors),” without providing any substantiation. BBB was unable to locate the Business name or the owners name on the official ASHI website.

          According to the Code of Advertising, advertisers bear primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any claims or offers made before publication or broadcast and, upon request, present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.

          Despite written requests, as of November 15, 2019, Positive Performance has failed to substantiate or modify the claim.
