Pattern of Complaint:
On April 18, 2023, Better Business Bureau began receiving complaints and Scam Tracker entries regarding Transcoast Express, also known as Transcoast Cargo concerning a fake employment scam.
Consumers are reporting they were contracted with Transcoast to fill a Parcel Specialist position. This position would involve receiving products or goods which would need to be inspected, after inspection the items were to be shipped to their final destination. Employees were told this was a work from home position, which would typically pay $4,000 a month and bonuses could be made by delivering packages in local areas.
BBB has determined this to be a Shipping Scam also referred to as a Reshipping Scam.
