      I am beyond disappointed with this company. I paid a deductible to get a replacement phone for my son's broken iPhone. I then was charged another $250, and am being accused of not sending back the phone. I provided the tracking, which they are still saying is wrong andclaing it was was sent to the wrong place. It was their label - SO this make ZERO sense. The phone was returned phone was a smashed and not even FIXABLE. The replacement phone you can TELL is a refurbished phone. Buttons on side only SOMETIMES work but I don't want to go throug them again! I could have purchased a new phone by now with the monthly protection fees, deductible and then the $250 fee they also just went and STOLE from me. This is unacceptable. It would not let me leave ZERO stars!

      I have been trying to process a simple claim because I was sold a refurbished phone that didn't work. I was told when I purchased it that it came with a 90 day warranty backed by BrightStar or Likewize or whatever these crooks are calling themselves today. As an aside, I would also be changing my name if I had a 1 star rating and read the other comments of people who have had to suffer under this company to receive what they had been promised. EVERY SINGLE PERSON I had to talk to at this company told me something completely different. I have been attempting to file this claim for weeks, with the claim being kicked around to different departments. The claim was started finally and I was told to call back in a few days to check on it. I called three days later and they told me that the number on the account wasn't registered to my name so I would be unable to process a claim. Several hours on hold and several managers later they admitted they had been wrong, said they fixed the problem and told me to call back in a few days. I called back in a few days and the problem had not been resolved. Another hour or more on hold and I was again told the problem had been fixed and they could now actually start a claim. Which is what I was told had already happened weeks ago. They told me everything was fine and to again call back in a few days. And again, when I called back, they told me the claim had been rejected for not being within the specified time period. Another hour on hold before they fixed that problem, and now apparently my claim is finished and I am set to receive a new phone. Only they are requiring me to send my phone into the company, so that they can check it out, before they will issue me a new phone. I was quoted a two week turn around time, with no help on a temporary phone or something so that I can continue to function in my personal and work life. I have a very troubling suspicion that this is not over yet, particularly after reading other reviews on this site saying that they had received not one but two different non-working phones after going through the process I just had to go through. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER. The customer service was apathetic, short, condecending and every single person told me something different. I believe they were just saying whatever they could to make me happy, regardless if what they were saying was actual company policy or anything that they've done before. After reading other reviews, I am starting to believe all of this is a purposeful business tactic to frustrate people to the point of being so upset they do not follow through with their claims. I have been without a working phone for over a month and now have to wait until Christmas to get a replacement for a defective phone that was sold to me under the auspices of a warranty. If I could give less than one star I most certainly would.
