This company was brought up by an attorney we had hired, as directed by the Department of Adult Services. As a result of DSS coming to my parents home, related to multiple concerns about how my siblings "who had intimidated my parents into rapidly signing over their P.O.A.", it was noted that my siblings were more invested in helping themselves to my parents financials, then they were in providing the necessary care my parents were owed I was pushed out of the family dynamic due to the toxicity of my siblings actions towards me, to include physical, mental and emotional abuse. Nothing that I suggested, from my professional knowledge as an RN was being implemented. Simple things, meals were cooked and served for up to a week, as my parents couldn't remember what they had eaten the night before, a hole was punched into the laundry room wall at the same time my father was diagnosed with a fractured spine "yet, no investigation into this was performed. I recommended urinals, hand rails, physical therapy, necessary appointments for my mom's eyes and cracked glasses, a visit to a podiatrist .... I wasn't listened to. The DSS worker recommended to my father to have my brothers removed as P.O.A. and to hire an attorney to step in and act as a fiduciary, in my parents best interest. I found an attorney who was listed as doing just that. I took my father to meet the attorney to straighten out what my siblings were neglecting, refrigerator/freezer broken, black mold repairs, broken dishwasher, foundation of the house cracking, complaints by the neighbors about my fathers landscape, etc. Needless to say, leading my father to the attorney was like feeding my parents to an alligator. Worst decision ever. That's when NAVAMAZE was brought into the picture, to care for my parents needs, meal prep, light cleaning, arranging appointments, maintaining activities of daily living that are important to my parents happiness and would contribute to their over all happiness and comfort. NAVAMAZE sold a service to my parents, my parents who very much wanted me to be a part of their care, as I had been the one my father asked to leave my life in Texas, 4 years prior to be closer to them, help out, where help was needed; which I did. Church on Sunday's, visited 4, 5, 6 times a week, cleaned, made repairs that i could, informed my father of issues with the house that needed attention. When Paula, the CEO of NAVAMAZE stepped in she made claims regarding her company and that I would be incorporated into being a valuable asset that she would use and integrate (with my credentials) into my parents care team. Far from tbe truth. I informed Paula that I had discussed the caretakers who were coming to the house, and it was decided that there were caretakers who were not compatible with the type of provider I wanted caring for my parents. This was expressed multiple times, yet the caretakers we wanted removed from caring for my parents, continue to be employed. My father, who paid out of pocket, should have been listened to, as I went through the list of caregivers with my father in the presence of a caregiver, and my father agreed with my decisions. Sadly, Paula has disregarded not only this request, but many other important requests, recommendations and implementations that have been requested. There is no plan of care in the home that is routinely followed, the house is still falling apart, exercises are not being done by each care giver's, etc. The list goes on and on. The services that NAVAMAZE states that they provide are not in accordance with their pledge or mission statement. I believe that NAVAMAZE should be investigated, as I believe that possibly there is some behind the scenes, unethical relations between this company and those (attorney's) pushing clients to use NAVAMAZE, as an only choice. Communication has been virtually none, and when there was communication, it was all lies and misleading.
