Pattern of Complaints

BBB has received a pattern of complaints concerning product issues and alleged false advertising. Consumers allege that they are not receiving what they ordered online. Business claims to provide remote controls original to the television, but are shipping different remotes.

In January 2020, BBB contacted the business requesting information as to why the business believes the customers are filing the complaints, and what actions the business has taken to help eliminate the causes of complaints.

Thank you for taking the time to send us a letter this week regarding our company' profile with the Better Business Bureau. New Remotes, Inc. has been in business for over 20 years and has assisted hundreds of thousand unique customers across the continental US and Canada with their remote control needs.

Annually, our company processes over l00K orders and our customers rely on us to provide the
appropriate parts for their home electronics. Today's technology has allowed us to process orders,communicate and ship product all over the United States and Canada. Every day we receive emails from customers thanking us for our "exemplary product and service' and will often times return back to our company for future purchases. This makes us proud as we work diligently every day in every department
to provide the best service possible. With that being said there are times mistakes happen. We are hunman. Technology isn't perfect which unfortunately will result in an unhappy purchase experience and a poor/negative review.

While we strive for 100% customer satisfaction, according to the BBB statistics received, we have a .000 15 negative/error rate and our customer satisfaction rating is over 99%. With the volume of business we do as a company. we simply cannot be error free. We have however proven to make every attempt:above and beyond our normal policies, to resolve all customer complaints and issues in a very timely manner. On a few occasions we have even offered full refunds to offset inconveniences without hesitation or requests for returned merchandise.
