- It came to BBB's attention that Expert Legal Group, LLC does not have the required license to offer legal based services. Specifically, no one employed by the company is a licensed attorney, which is needed to offer foreclosure defense services and to substantiate the company's name, Expert Legal Group.
In September 2019, BBB requested the business substantiate the required license needed for services it offers. The business responded by stating that 95% of its services are document preparation and processing which do not need a license. However, on some cases that are outside of its scope of business and require legal services, such as bankruptcy or foreclosure defense/court appearances, the business stated it has outside attorneys that they use.
