Customer Complaint

BBB has received several complaints against Oh Hey Momma! concerning non-delivery of products ordered and paid for online.

Consumers have reported this business is advertising through Facebook.

This business' website www.ohheymomma.com was created on 2/3/2020 and its ownership is anonymous.

The business' address is a FedEx Authorized ShipCenter; no physical address for the business has been found.

In June 2020, BBB contacted the business requesting information as to why the business believes the customers are filing the complaints, and what actions the business has taken to help eliminate the causes of complaints.

The business responded to the BBB inquiry with the following:

Most all of our orders are delayed due to COVID-19, and I know this is frustrating for so many of our customers. All orders are on the way to our customers IF they have not been delivered yet, but delivery is greatly delayed.
The way the business is currently set up, we are drop shipping direct to our customers from China. Our orders are either stuck in transit with great delays due to fulfillment and shipping overseas being backed up due to COVID, or are in Los Angelos at the shipping port stuck in customs before they can be released to Fed Ex or USPS. The carrier selection is depending on the final destination of the package. Many of our packages are getting stuck in customs for 2-3 weeks + transit time before and after customs. I have stayed up many nights to try to get our packages released and on trucks to our customers. it's just going to take some time and is out of our hands and in the hands of U.S. customs and the shipping companies.

I unfortunately can't refund any orders when a customer requests for it, prior to receiving their item, because the item is in transit and my business will go under if I refund items that I don't receive back to us that can be resold. We tell our customers, and this is published on our website, that If for whatever reason they don't love their purchase once it's received, they will have 30 days to send it back to us for a full refund.

We are a small business and these shipping times are a big set back for us. We are doing our best to keep customers well informed and get these packages on the delivery trucks and to the homes of our customers, but unfortunately this is the reality of the situation right now due to COVID. I have had many sleepless nights over this.

We have been working very hard behind the scenes to remedy these shipping problems and prevent them from happening again in the
future.
