On March 20, 2020, BBB reviewed the advertising of Tropicars located on https://tropicars-golf.com/. The business was making the claims:
1) "As the long-standing leader in golf car innovation, AC drivetrain efficiency and IntelliBrakeTM technology, the E-Z-GO(r) RXV(r)..."
2) "EV Li-Ion is the industry's first off-road utility vehicle powered by Lithium-Ion technology."
3) "There's a reason the RANGER XP(r) 900 is the top selling utility SxS for 10 years straight."
4) "... and dominate the off-road in the industry's best-selling crossover SxS." (The GENERAL(r) 1000 EPS )
5) "ACE 150 EFI Industry's first single-seat youth model."
6) "There is a reason the Polaris Sportsman 570 is the best-selling automatic ATV on the market."
7) "... that makes Sportsman the best selling automatic 4×4 ATV of all time,..." (Sportsman 570 SP)
8) "... that makes Sportsman the best selling automatic 4×4 ATV of all time,..." (Sportsman Touring 570)

BBB had requested that they either substantiate the claims & provide BBB supporting documentation or modify their advertising statements to reflect more accurate statements in an effort to promote truth in advertising. As of December 30, 2020, the business has not modified their advertising.
