Licensing

BBB received consumer complaint activity indicating this business makes unwanted calls offering durable medical equipment to be covered under Medicare and/or insurance.

In March 2019 BBB requested the business to substantiate their telemarketing license.
In March 2019, the business replied. However, their response did not address BBB's questions consumer complaint activity concerning phone calls or lack of telemarketing license.

"To Whom It May Concern,

Yes, we are a fully licensed and insured durable medical equipment company.

We do not make any outbound calls or do any direct solicitation. In order for a call to be made to a Medicare recipient, that person HAS TO opt-in from an advertisement (TV, radio, internet, newspaper). Most don't remember doing this, but they did. And once they opt-in, they are on a list to be called. But those calls do not come from us. All calls are recorded as well and no one is sent a device unless the recipient says "yes".

All recipients can contact our office to process a return if they do not wish to keep the device."

Pattern of Complaints

BBB has received a pattern of complaints concerning Billing and Sales Practice Issues.

Specifically, consumer complaints allege the company will continuously call to offer durable medical equipment covered by Medicare or insurance. Consumer complaints further allege that consumers receive unauthorized products that were not ordered, finding that Medicare or insurance was billed.

BBB contacted the business in March 2019 in order to obtain the business position on the matter.
