West Gadsden Historical Society, Inc. owns and operates the Greensboro Depot Railroad Museum located at 115 Duffle Avenue and the Dezell House Museum at 328 East 8th Street, both in Greensboro, FL. The Dezell House was placed on the National Register of Historic Places May 10, 2006 and serves as the headquarters of the West Gadsden Historical Society. Information requests are received, researched and answered by our directors. There is no paid staff. Everything is accomplished by volunteers. Funds to finance the organization and its work come from membership dues, voluntary donations and sales of books, t-shirts and other items.
