          In March 2017, BBB contacted the business regarding claims it was making in newspaper advertising about its hearing aid products:

          1. "The all new A4 hearing aid with patented microchip technology is the most advanced hearing aid we have ever designed and is available exclusively at Audibel locations listed below."

          2. "For The First Time Ever. The Most Advanced Hearing Aid Ever. Is Smaller Than Ever."

          3. "PLATINUM The Best Of The Best Completely In Canal."

          BBB requested the business substantiate that the claims meet the standards outlined in BBB's Code of Advertising (Section 28, Objective Superlative Claims). The Code states that "Superlative statements in advertisements about the tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service are objective claims for which the advertiser must possess substantiation as they can be based upon accepted standards or tests."
