BBB Serving CT opened an investigation after receiving several inquiries and complaints regarding this Shipping/Escrow company. Consumers responded to an ad on social media for a used boat at a greatly discounted price. When they contacted the seller, it was stated that the boat belonged to a deceased relative - hence the low price. When they expressed interest, the potential buyer was referred to the Shipping/Escrow company where they were asked for an escrow payment to have the vehicle delivered for inspection prior to purchase.
BBB confirmed that the address used is that of a virtual office service. BBB has been unable to verify where the business is located or the entity behind the website.
BBB urges extreme caution when doing business with a company whose physical location is unknown.
