In November of 2018 BBB launched an investigation regarding this company because complainants have alleged that when applying for a loan, they are instructed to provide personal and banking information. They also allege that no money was deposited into their accounts and their accounts are frozen due to being hacked. Upon completion of the investigation, BBB confirmed that this company is NOT located at 1324 State Street in Santa Barbara as their website claims as of April 5, 2019 and the company has not obtained the license required to operate in the city of Santa Barbara. Additionally, BBB found evidence that a similar scam used this same address dating back to 2009.
Consumers should always use extreme caution when companies that they are unfamiliar with, such as this one, request personal information.
