On June 12, 2019 a Google search of the business on file, 864 Grand Avenue #65 San Diego, CA 92019 revealed that a business named Beach Mailbox and Gifts is located at 864 Grand Avenue. This business offers private mailboxes so it is reasonably assumed that Gadget Saving Shop has a mailbox at this address, but it is not physically located at this address. We are unable to determine the physical location of Gadget Saving Shop.

On June 12, 2019 a BBB representative called 1-877-363-1462, the phone number listed on Gadget Saving Shop's website. The BBB representative asked the customer service representative how to order items from the website. He advised that one must sign up for the membership in order to purchase products. But he said it was a one time fee of $45.00 and then one just has to pay shipping & handling on the products purchased. When questioned about are there are fees to pay, he explained there are no other fees to be paid. He indicated you have to enter a code in the Discount code section of checkout (a code you receive via email after you sign up for the membership) and then you will see the cost of the shipping & handling.
The information provided over the phone is different than what is online at https://signup.gadgetsavingshop.com/. The website states "Membership is free for the first 30 days, then $59.63 for the first month, then 9.63 recuring monthly thereafter for renewed access." Also, it states the one time fee is $40.00 not $45.00 as advised by the customer service representative on the telephone.

Recent customer complaints allege that Gadget Saving Shop charges customers a membership fee that was not disclosed prior to purchase and the business is not providing refunds when requested.
Based on this information BBB requested on 5/15/2019 that Gadget Saving Shop provide documentation that better explains their refund and membership policies.
A review of their website states, “We have a 30-day refund policy, and it will take 5-7 business days for a refund to post onto your account.”
